The Story of Atom Servo

Proton R&D team starts servo project from the study of frame because they believe frame is most important factor of good performance. The design is completed according to the their study and it is the 20% fiberglass reinforced frame, FRF as shown above.

FRF successfully absorbs distortion and keeps up the axis centers of gears, motor and potentiometer. There is no doubt the Atom servo's accuracy and smooth gear movement are from the mighty frame, FRF.

Also the FRF has two U grooves on up and down sides for installing o-rings. Assembling servo cases, the gear cover and motor cover press o-rings and it provides perfect sealing. (Marine servo)
